Temple Solel Religious School Agenda:
- Temple Solel Zoom Religious School begins at 10:00 a.m.
- We will start the day with a T’Filah Prayer Service from 10:00 – 10:30 am. We encourage parents to participate with their children in an interactive and educational service as together we learn the deeper meaning of prayer.
- We will continue using our Shalom Learning values-based online curriculum that teaches our students the meaning and relevance of being Jewish today.
- We will have group sessions after T’Filah to discuss Jewish holidays, the Jewish value being studied that month, Jewish history, and/or valuable lessons from the weekly Torah portions.
- Virtual Zoom Break-out rooms with 1-3 students each will take place with individualized attention, learning, and teaching.
- Online sessions will conclude by noon.
- There will be an emphasis on:
- How to pray and the meaning of Jewish prayer
- Meaningful Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation
- How to be Jewish and why
- Jewish values in America today
- Judaism as a source of wisdom
- The joys of Jewish music
- Current events that affect the Jewish community
- Israel awareness and appreciation
