“Research has shown that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory.” Our beloved Cantor for over 36 years is back and better than ever! Do you love Israeli music and love to dance? Learn new dances and exercise with your family of Solel. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
8/6 – 8/11 – JCC Maccabi Games | Access
This Summer, thousands of Jewish youth from all around the world are coming to Broward to participate in the JCC Maccabi Games. We need to focus on the Jewish values these games represent, the special role Solel has played in making these games happen, and how we all can participate and play an important part.
These Maccabi Games are raising the bar of inclusion to a new level. They will be more accessible than ever before!
Our Jewish values and members of the Family of Solel are leading the way and what you can do to participate and support this important endeavor.
The JCC Maccabi Games®, an Olympic-style sporting competition held each summer, are five days that can change the lives of Jewish teens. During the JCC Maccabi Games®, teens from communities around the globe are immersed in a sports and recreation program imbued with Jewish values and experiences. The goal of the JCC Maccabi Games® is to contribute to the maintenance and enrichment of Jewish identity in youth and to the development of democratic values and leadership through healthy competition and sportsmanship. The JCC Maccabi Games® is the second largest organized sports program for Jewish teenagers in the world and has now influenced over 130,000 Jewish youth in North America and around the world.
