The Solel Experience
Temple Solel wants Judaism to make a difference in people’s lives. Therefore, we offer numerous programs, classes, and experiences that are designed to deepen the relationship between Judaism and life.
For many of our members, the highlight of the week is Rabbi Plost’s Torah study on Shabbat morning, Black Letters and White Spaces – which teaches that it is our duty to find meaning in Torah. We have mini-courses throughout the year, dealing with such subjects as spirituality and Israel. Theater at Solel presents readings of short plays on Jewish topics and invites the audience to discuss and debate their meanings. We have hosted major thought leaders, such as Rabbi Donniel Hartman of the Shalom Hartman Institute. In all that we do, we make Judaism come alive.
