Karen Pincus has been uplifting congregations in Miami and South Florida as a Cantorial Soloist since 2007. Before joining Temple Solel, Karen served as Cantorial Soloist at Temple Beth El in Fort Myers and had the privilege of serving as the Cantorial Soloist-Educator at Temple Israel of Greater Miami 2017-2021 where she elevated the kahal through sacred song and prayer during Shabbat and the Jewish holidays while also creating meaningful Religious School, b’nai mitzvah, post-b’nai mitzvah and song leader programs. Karen has been a member of the Guild of Temple Musicians since 2009 and is a current member of both the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Cantorial Cabinet and the Jewish Caring Community of Miami, Mishkan Miami. Happily married since 1989 to her husband, Alan, Karen is the proud mom of Adam, who lives in Jersey City with his wife, Melissa, and Lauren, who currently resides in Chicago with her fiancé, Danny. Karen is both excited and humbled to be joining the Temple Solel family as the new Cantorial Soloist and looks forward to sharing sacred moments and creating new memories in this special community!
